Graham is a 2017 graduate of the Kent State University School of Journalism and Mass Communication, receiving his Bachelors of Science in Visual Journalism. Graham started working in digital media back in high school, learning to create stop motion videos as well as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator basics.
Graham first worked as a photographer and assistant editor for the daily student newspaper ‘The Kent Stater,’ shooting multiple assignments every week including local news, events, collegiate sports, and features from the college community.
During his later years at Kent State, Graham began working as a multimedia producer at Signum Design, a student operated graphic design and multimedia studio servicing the Kent State Student Center, Center for Student Involvement, and Student Organizations. He credits Signum with elevating his creativity through more stylized portrait and lifestyle photography and for jump staring his focus on video/audio production and editing as well as motion graphics.
During his Senior year, he also worked as a Photo Intern at AkronLife Magazine, producing photos for a monthly lifestyle magazine covering Akron and North East Ohio.
After graduation, Graham worked as in social media management and internet marketing for Fred Martin Auto Group before moving to a role as a Videographer and Editor for WTWH Media, providing professional corporate and advertising video content for WTWH Media advertisers and clients as well as editorial video content on various WTWH Media brand platforms. Most recently, Graham has worked as an Editor, photographer, and videographer for Q4 Impact Group, where he has had the opportunity to produce advertising and storytelling campaigns for everyone from small businesses to major multi-national corporations.
His experiences in newspaper journalism, magazine production, and multimedia production for advertising have instilled in him the importance of being organized, deadline oriented, and quality driven. Working in journalism also established his passion for the power of visual storytelling. Whether for journalistic or marketing content, Graham loves storytelling and feels video provides for a strong, intimate platform to share anyones story.
Graham’s goal as he continues his career is to never stop learning and growing from the experiences of those around him. He is passionate about what he produces and works hard to continue producing creative and meaningful content.
